DETAILED ITINERARY

7:30 am : Driver picks you up at Jungle Lodge departure to visit Doan fair market (by car/motorbike)

It's understandable that the ethnic people who are living on high mountains around found this land suitable for them to meet and trade things. And that's how the Doan fair market was born. From Pu Luong Jungle Lodge, it takes about 30 minutes for about 14 km to get to the market.

8:30 am : Start to take a short trek (easy 2km trekking) to brocade weaving village in Lan village

Lan village is an interesting destination for tourists. Lan village is inhabited by the Black Thai ethnic minority people, where people still keep the pristine beauty of their traditions.

Lan village is surrounded by majestic limestone mountains. There are about 100 households here, among them, about 86 households make a living by weaving brocade. In the past, people wove brocade only for their families and neighbors. Recently, as the village began to engage in tourism, the locals started weaving more to serve visiting tourists.

When you go from the beginning of the village to the end of the village, you will see many beautiful brocade weaving products. All of these products are meticulously woven by hand. Each traditional handicraft product has a story embedded in it and is a valuable folk cultural treasure of the Thai people residing here.

10:00 am: Continue trekking to Don village (2.5km easy trekking)

Don village lies amidst sprawling terraced rice fields and majestic mountains, creating a picturesque landscape akin to a painting. Most people here are Thai ethnic people who live mainly on rice planting. The village’s climate has the featured characteristic of the mountainous areas’ climate, which is cool and mild all year round. Breathtaking sightseeings intertwine with the genuine emotions of the local people, making the journey vibrant and soulful.

11:00 am: Driver will pick you up at Don village and take you back to Jungle Lodge. Journey's end.
